After breakfast we did our first water activity.  We had an amazing experience snorkeling and swimming with playful sea lions. It was a great opportunity to get close to them as they swam all around us! Gardner bay has a beautiful white sand beach and we were able to relax and take pictures of the sea lions sleeping.

Today we also had the opportunity to enjoy an Ecuadorian traditional food buffet. All the flavors and the smells piqued our appetite and it was a delicious way to explore this interesting culinary culture.

In the afternoon we landed on Punta Suarez. It was an overwhelming experience to see the combination of the different sea birds spices together along the trail. The famous waved albatrosses, swallow-tailed gulls, Nazca and blue footed boobies, red-billed tropic birds were observed. We learned today how to differentiate each one from their song and we saw them mating, taking care of eggs and baby chicks. We also saw land birds such as the Galapagos hawk, the Galapagos dove, the warbler finch, and the yellow warbler. All of them make this ecosystem a unique destination.

We ended this amazing expedition with a moment of silence. We let nature talk to us through its different sounds. Galapagos is an astonishing archipelago that can change the way we understand life itself. It was another day in paradise.
