Our first full day in the Galapagos was more than we could have asked for. We started the day at Gardner Bay. A beautiful white sand beach was our destination to explore. We were excited to see so many Galapagos sea lions carelessly sleeping on shore very close to us. The snorkeling was remarkable; swimming with sea lions, turtles, and even sharks was completely exhilarating. For the afternoon, we took Zodiacs around Suarez. The albatrosses in flight were so beautiful in addition to the other seabirds around us.
It was definitely the perfect way to finish our day when a pod of hundreds of dolphins swam alongside the Zodiac. What a magnificent day we had!
