The last full day of the trip was spent in Espiritu Santo National Park in Ensenada Grande. National Geographic Venture anchored in the cove and set up for a day of adventures. The morning started with hikes up the rocky arroyo to beautiful views of the open Sea of Cortez.
In the afternoon everyone hopped into Zodiacs for cruises through the cove to see the unique shapes of volcanic tuff. As the Zodiac tours ended, a few brave souls dared the wind to look below the water and snorkeled around the cliffs to see green moray eels and puffer fish. The day ended with a chill yoga class with Jesse Lujan, our Exhale wellness specialist.
