Inspiration can manifest itself into writing; an avenue to express and share the wonder and delight of your experiences. An invitation to contribute to our daily report was issued to our younger guests this week. Shared with you now are their insights, amazement and sense of humor. Whether youthful in age or young at heart, we are all taking very special memories home.

O, Antarctica by Pavan Anand, Age 11
Antarctica, Antarctica, how beautiful are thee. Your sky blue waters, glaciers and ice bergs seem so graceful to me.
Antarctica, Antarctica, your wonders are like no other. Oh, how I wish I had one of your penguins for a brother!
Antarctica, Antarctica, we must have warm clothing to see you. Then again, it is worth it, for you are not something to pass through.
O, Antarctica! O, Antarctica! How I love you!

Antarctica is the windiest and roughest, to climb its peaks is the toughest.
There is so much of ice, that there will be no mice.
The continent is filled with seals, and they will have penguins as their meals.
There is so much of wonderful snow, that the continent will glow.
The highest point is Mt. Vinson Massif, for it is so massive.
Do not disturb the ozone layer, for in the future, you will be the payer.
To our world there’s a global warning, to save the world of ice from global warming.
