The mysterious island of Floreana was full of sights since our arrival at dawn; dolphins and flamingos were among the highlights, and suddenly...there she blows!!! These were the words that rang out when the lookout aboard of the "pangas" spotted the spout of the whales. Everyone who went on the early morning outing today witnessed the grandeur of those majestic animals. Two humpback whales, a female and her calf, were cruising along the coast when we were coming back to the ship after a great visit to the historic Post Office Barrel. A trace of love and peace was left behind in their path and perhaps a message of hope in the heart of every one of us who saw them.
