This is my first week of the millennium in the Galapagos. It is great to be back and able to inform you on all the wildlife of these gorgeous islands. It could not have been better today. We started very early to do some whale watching and we sure did. We had whales coming very close to thePolaris and also dolphins!
In the afternoon we also had many attractions but this time they were on land. In this photo you can admire a sea lion and a flightless cormorant getting along just fine. It is fantastic to find these animals coexisting in the same environment without interfering with each other. Imagine, if all living organisms lived liked this? Ah, what a wonderful place to live in our planet would be.
