We spent the entire morning cruising among icebergs at the face of South Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm fjord. The glacier was exceptionally active today, with several 15-story-tall ice spires breaking free and plunging to the water.
The photo shows just another day at the office for Sea Lion boatswain John Mitchell. As John's Zodiac passed the enormous iceberg in the photo, the berg rolled completely over, exposing its deep blue underside.
