The day started with an active group of humpback whales vying for the attention of a female. The group did circles around the ship during their ritual. The ship's guests, staff and crew ran circles around the decks trying to keep up, get good views and take photographs.

The afternoon was spent snorkeling, birding or shopping in and around Cabo San Lucas. Later we cruised past the granodioritic sea arch at "Land's End." At sunset there was a roar of approval when a large group on the bow saw the "green flash" as we entered the Pacific Ocean.
