There are always so many possibilities on a Lindblad Expeditions day. Today this guest watched sea lions, a peregrine falcon and several species of seabirds at Los Islotes before breakfast.
After breakfast came kayaking, followed by a hike that turned up these blossoms on the candelilla plant. Candelilla was used by natives of the area for candle wax.
After lunch two gray whales and a couple pods of common dolphins visited us. The day was capped off with a beach barbecue, complete with stories and song.
We enjoyed the the stark outline of the Espiritu Santos against the pastels of a seemingly endless sunset, slipping into the bright moon and stars of the early evening. New adventures wait for tomorrow!
