Genovesa is the favorite Island for most of the Naturalists who work in the archipelago and we saved it for the last day of the trip. This island was a large volcano that collapsed a while ago, and the entire caldera was filled with water. Nowadays ships like the National Geographic Islander anchor inside what used to be the volcano. Today we saw probably half a million sea birds, including boobies, frigates, owls and more.
