Today, we woke up anchored inside the caldera of the old volcano on Genovesa, one of the archipelago’s northern islands. This place captivated us with its beauty. It is one of the most pristine islands, and it is full of amazing seabird species. The seabirds nest next to each other, which is incredible. They are so ecologically naïve and are unbothered by our presence, making us feel like we are a part of life on the islands. It is incredible to listen to the many sounds of the birds, and everyone should hear it at least once in their lifetime.

We end this week of expedition around the Galapagos with a smile in our hearts.
