National Geographic Sea Lion sailed into Haines through Lynn Strait early Thursday morning.

Harbor seals frolicked in Port Chilkoot Harbor as guests finished their breakfast and departed for their morning activities. Activities included bicycling around Chilkoot Lake, flyfishing for pink salmon, and hiking up to Mount Riley. Others went to Klukwan village and floated down the Chilkat River, while some guests were shuttled to a hike around Battery Point. After lunch, many guests, staff, and crew enjoyed wandering around Haines, sampling local fare and visiting the Haines Brewery and Port Chilkoot Distillery.

The day wrapped up with cocktails, interactive recaps, and dinner, followed by a presentation on Sculpting the Alaskan Landscape by Naturalist and Water Expert, Patrick MacQuarrie.
