The charming fishing village of Húsavík welcomed National Geographic Explorer today. Widely renowned for being surrounded by water thick with whales, it is also home to the Húsavík Whale Museum and serves as an access point to some of Icelands most celebrated attractions such as Ásbyrgi Canyon, Mývatn, and Goðafoss. Guests of National Geographic Explorer enjoyed the hospitality of the community that welcomed them with open arms.
