The day started with an early morning walk above the quiet village of Inverie, with good views over Loch Nevis. Lord of the Glens then sailed into the Inner Hebrides, with a late morning stop on the island of Eigg. Sunny skies provided pleasant walking on this small, community-owned island. The next island stop was at the Isle of Mull in the colorful town of Tobermory, where we had options for a distillery tour, a geology walk out to the local lighthouse, or exploring the town.

Prior to dinner, the ship sailed to Craignure, our starting point for tomorrow’s journey out to Iona. At Craignure, the day ended with a presentation from the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust with a wealth of information on the local whale and dolphin populations.
