Our last day exploring the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve began with a lovely sunrise. Right after breakfast, we loaded the skiffs and explored an interesting stream called Iricahua. The sound of the diversity of birds was extremely enjoyed by our guests.
The diversity of the place was proven to our eyes as we explored the waterway. The bird-watchers just enjoyed the diversity of birds found in this spectacular area and were amazed with all the different calls.
Our afternoon activities were held in a small tributary called Yarapa. Here, different species of macaws would fly constantly over our guests. Along the riverbanks we could see the waterlines marked in the trunks of the trees and different species of wrens, tanagers, and flycatchers would hang around together sharing the feeding area.
It was a great way to finish our seven-day adventure exploring the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.
