Today we visited two impressive visitor sites, Urbina bay and Tagus Cove.
Early in the morning, we finish our breakfast and start with different option for our hikes. Photo emphasis and nature walk. Same place different pace and lectures as we discover this intrinsic world together. Wet landing with an excitement, wave made it more of an adventure and when on land our reward unexpected. Many of the world famous giant tortoises were right on our trail. Urbina is known for its geological features and land iguanas, it was such an amazing travel experience.
Back onboard for a lecture about Charles Darwin delivered by our expedition leader Vanessa Gallo while our ship repositions to Tagus Cove.
Soon after lunch, our photo instructor Christian helps our guests with certain settings prior to our disembarkation.
At Tagus cove we all started with water activities, some of us opted for deep water snorkeling while others chose a kayak outing. Then we hiked 2 miles into a scenic view from the top. Zodiac riders were also happy to say good-bye to our two flightless birds of the west, Galapagos penguins and our flightless cormorants.
Back onboard for our traditional recap and ready to start our next expedition on the interior islands.
