Today was spent on Isabela Island, which is the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago. Isabela is made up of six volcanoes, five of which are still active and have permanent populations of giant tortoises.
In the morning, we landed in a very scenic site called Urbina Bay, home of several species of Darwin finches, yellow land iguanas and occasionally giant tortoises. In the afternoon, the ship repositioned further north to Tagus Cove, located at breast of this seahorse-shaped island.
