Today was a beautiful last day of the trip and Baja season on the National Geographic Sea Bird. We all started our day with a lovely sunrise for a breezy morning. After a good wake-up stretch, we enjoyed our breakfast before setting out to snorkel with the sea lions at Los Islotes. The waters churned, the sea lions captivated us with their curiosity, and many people got a once in a lifetime experience to swim with the playful creatures up close!

After many photos and a fulfilling lunch, we all had the chance to do a bit of souvenir shopping for loved ones in the Global Market, put on by the hotel staff. A siesta later we disembarked at Ensenada Grande for beach sunbathing, snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking in a sheltered bay. The waters were a beautiful teal, the sand was a fine white, and all on shore turned a bronze tan complimenting their bright smiles.

Later, a riveting Recap complete with a spectacular slideshow and undersea video footage by Carlos Navarro. Next, a goodbye from the captain and crew while enjoying a fantastic dinner. A most amazing last day on board, for all!
