Our day began with a nice cool breeze, at this time of the year is normal to have strong breeze and our journey started on the central realm of Galápagos on North Seymour Island. After breakfast, we got ashore and walked through some colonies of seabirds such as blue-footed boobies, great frigate birds, and magnificent frigate birds. This morning was our first chance to see Galapagos land iguanas walking on to the lava rocks by the trail.

A few Galapagos sea lions were relaxing on the white color sand while lava lizards ran all over the place trying to catch some flies that surrounded the sea lions. We also had the option to go along the coast and look for wildlife from the Zodiac. We got a chance to see large schools of Galapagos mullets as well as Galapagos fur seals resting on to large lava boulders by the cliffs.

During lunch we navigated to Rábida Island, there we had our first opportunity to go snorkeling from the shore and from the Zodiacs. Several of our guests saw sharks, rays, and many different species of fish and green sea turtles. After snorkeling, we returned aboard and got ready once again to go on a great hike to the top of a small hill from there the view was amazing, as the red color of the lava rocks was looking bright during sunset time.
