Today we had one of the most amazing days in the Galapagos. We started early with a pre-breakfast hike on North Seymour. The marine birds were actively flying and fishing, the male frigatebirds already had their beautiful red pouches inflated, and blue-footed boobies were on display. The sea lions, which are the favorite of many, were in their colonies with their newborns.
Right after we returned to National Geographic Islander II, we started navigating towards Rábida Island where we enjoyed water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming from the beach.
The day ended with a mesmerizing stroll along a Rábida beach with a flamboyant flamingo performance and a stunning sunset. What a spectacular day we had in the Galapagos!
