In the Galapagos we have plenty of amazing moments, but what we experienced on Floreana today was especially unique! From the start of the day, we witnessed flamingos feeding in the lagoon, blue-footed boobies doing their courtship dance, and sea turtles leaving their nesting grounds after depositing their eggs in the dunes.
Right before an amazing snorkeling session, we crossed paths with bottle-nose dolphins, who swam next to us during the Zodiac rides.
We visited the Post Office Bay and barrel and experienced the oldest mailing system known. To finish the afternoon, we had kayak sessions where more wildlife was there to amuse us all.
What a day to remember!
