Today our adventure on the National Geographic Islander began on Punta Pit where we were able to watch the beautiful blue footed boobies nesting all along the trail.

The wind was blowing and some juveniles were stretching their wings in order to learn to fly. Also in this particular area we saw red-footed boobies nesting on the tree branches and some of them were incubating eggs and taking care of their chicks.

After the hike we enjoyed the beach and some of the guest did snorkeling around the area with rays and fish.

After a delicious buffet meal and chocolate lava cookies for dessert we navigated to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, Galapagos Islands capital or also, the capital of the sea lions! There were sea lions everywhere some of them were nursing and others were new born and some rest of the placenta were on the beach. A beautiful sunset begun at 5:30pm and the sky turned into orange and red coloration. Was time to head on board the Islander and prepare our self to the cocktail and farewell dinner.
