Our journey today started with a long and relaxing morning, since we were sailing down towards Dalmatia and the city, Zadar. The weather was on our side, so Captain Kathryn decided to put the sails up again, and thanks to the wind, we got the speed up to 8.2 knots.
After breakfast, the day at sea was enriched by a talk from our Lindblad Naturalist Adrian Cedra about the interesting formation of the Mediterranean, both the region and the sea. The morning lectures continued, followed by Cultural Specialist Paolo Servadei about the love and hate relationship between the Venetian and the Ottoman Empire.
In the afternoon, we were caught by rain, which opened a perfect opportunity to visit the engine room and the bridge. Nothing is more unique than exploring the beautiful Sea Cloud II.
