This was a day full of excitement and surprises, starting with morning Zodiac rides and the sighting of a flock of blue-footed boobies during a feeding session. Then we trekked along the dry zone of Dragon’s Hill searching for Galapagos land iguanas, which were very active.

During the snorkel session we had the opportunity to swim with different species of fish and marine life. The day was sunny and the water very refreshing!

The Ecuadorian lunch couldn’t have been more delicious. The afternoon offered amazing sightings of sea turtles, brown pelicans, boobies, herons, and lots of baby hammerheads and black tip sharks inside the mangrove’s nursery along the shore of Punta Borrero.

The day finished with a couple of tiger sharks cruising next to our Zodiacs and then a wine tasting celebration back on-board during sunset.
