Our day was magnificent. We started with water activities, and exploring the coast of the rugged lava field by Zodiacs or kayaks was impressive. We explored the underwater world by snorkeling or on the glass-bottom Zodiac. Sharks, rays, turtles, and countless fish amazed us.

We have many young explorers on board, and we took them for Zodiac driving lessons as part of our National Geographic Global Explorers program. They had so much fun as they learned a new skill. To finish our day, we explored the newest lava field on Santiago Island, Sullivan Bay. Our guests felt like they traveled to a different world as they appreciated the roughness and beauty of this raw volcanic scene.

We cannot wait to explore this paradise even more.
