Today onboard National Geographic Venture, we awoke at anchor in Sitkoh Bay in the southeast corner of Chichagof Island. Guests had the chance to get up early to start a long exploratory hike before breakfast. Those that chose to sleep in, went on bushwacks and intertidal hikes later in the morning. We then lifted our anchor and entered Chatham Strait where we encountered amazing displays from a few humpback whales!
