The conclusion of our epic voyage through New Zealand culminated with a visit to the smallest of the three major islands, Stewart Island. We took the morning to explore nearby Ulva Island, a pest-free haven that is home to an incredible diversity of bird and plant life. Some guests took the option to cross to the north and investigate the township of Oban on the main island and entertain some shopping opportunities. We finished the day by making our way through glassy calm waters under the bright skies towards Dunedin and the conclusion of our expedition. It has truly been remarkable.
