This morning was one of birds, culture, and our fair share of paletas (popsicles!). Add these moments to an afternoon of heightened whale activity, and what we are left with is a day along the southern tip of Baja that made some the very best memories we’ve had on this voyage.

After breakfast, we visited the estuary of San Jose del Cabo and the town center. Then it was time for whales. It was anticipated that we would be traveling quite a way out before we would see them. Instead, we found ourselves positively immersed with humpback viewings without having to go but a fraction of the distance! What an outstanding expedition this has been so far!
