Today National Geographic Sea Bird had a spectacular day inside the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness area. We saw five different black bears on our way up the bay towards South Sawyer Glacier.

As we advanced up the bay, we lowered our Zodiacs to weave through the ice for a closer look at the face of the glacier. We encountered so much wildlife today: goats, seals, bears, whales, and even moose!

Truly a fantastic day in Southeast Alaska!
