The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on February 1, 2017.

Today was spent in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trinidad.  An amazing colonial gem that was one of the most important areas for sugar exports in Cuba.  This beautiful city has rich Spanish colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, palaces, churches, convents, and a multitude of plazas.  Many of us spent the day exploring this unbelievable window into yester-year, while others enjoyed an enriching hike in Topes de Collantes, a beautiful park in the mountains above Trinidad.
