Today after breakfast we visited Urbina Bay on the shores of Alcedo Volcano. After a wet landing we hiked through a forest that has grown on the uplifted rocky terrain that was a reef a mere sixty years ago. During our walk we were very lucky to have our first encounter with Galapagos giant tortoises.

We repositioned to Tagus Cove for the afternoon where we explored the shoreline and had our last encounter with the Flightless Cormorant from our Zodiacs, while snorkeling and aboard our kayaks and paddleboards.
