Today was a beautiful day of food, wine, and history on our river journey. We anchored at the confluence of the Columbia and Snake Rivers this morning and went ashore in Zodiacs before driving to Walla Walla.
In the morning some of us went on a tour of Seven Hills Vineyard, while others went to the Fort Walla Walla Museum. We met up at lunchtime for an amazing meal courtesy of Salted Mill restaurant at the Seven Hills Wine Tasting Room.
In the afternoon, we explored Walla Walla further, with some of us driving to Whitman Mission, while others explored downtown Walla Walla. There are many tasting rooms here, along with shopping and a great ice cream shop, so there was something for everyone!
We shuttled back onboard in the evening and enjoyed a beautiful sunset during cocktail hour. We will sleep well tonight after a very full day!
