Today is a special day as our group of travelers had the opportunity to visit a remote hamlet of Bakkagerdi, located in the rocky Eastfjords of Iceland.

Today was a day jam-packed with activity. We had a wilderness mountain biking option, a mountain summit strenuous hike, a moderate (plus!) hike, a leisurely walk, a photo-focused adventure, a walk through a charming little town, and the best puffin viewing experience to date. Locals call this area the puffin capital of the world and it was a true treat to observe so many puffins so closely in their natural environment.
