We spent the day at Floreana Island, once known as the “island of the thousand volcanoes,” due to its high concentration of parasitic cones. We landed before breakfast at Punta Cormorant. Here we enjoyed a leisure walk and observed greater flamingos and blue-footed boobies.

After breakfast, National Geographic Endeavour II was repositioned towards Champion Islet. Multiple options were offered here: Zodiac rides, glass-bottom boat rides and snorkeling. Great conditions for every option, our guests were delighted! In the afternoon we visited Post Office Bay. This is great place to take out our kayaks and paddleboards, young sea lions and Pacific green sea turtles were spotted. Our young explorers enjoyed the green sandy beach and a good exchange of postcards took place. Floreana Island is a gift for the soul!
