The Sea Bird lies at anchor off Sand Dollar Beach on Isla Magdalena:

We traversed rolling sand dunes from the Magdalena Bay side of the island, where gray whales and coyotes shared the morning with us, over to the Pacific Ocean side and an expansive beach strewn with keyhole sand dollars, venus shells and the remains of sea turtles, whales, sea lions and other creatures.
