Today we took an early walk on North Seymour Island, and the colors of the sunrise were amazing. Various birds nest here, which is why I call it, “The Bird Discotheque.” When we started the walk, several sea lions welcomed us to the island. Later, we found land iguanas. As we walked by the vegetation, we found frigatebirds with inflated red gular pouches. In the afternoon, we walked on Rabida Island and found flamingos and white-cheeked pintail ducks near a very salty lagoon full of brine shrimp.
