In the tropics, most things happen very early or very late in the day. Today we left the ship just after sunrise to explore the mangroves and rocky coasts in search of wildlife, and we were granted a number of great sightings.
After a refreshing lunch on deck and a presentation, we boarded the Zodiacs again to explore the unique phenomenon of Montgomery Reef where the huge currents generated by the receding tide create innumerable waterfalls descending from the coral reef.
We closed the day dining on the outer deck, accompanied by a magnificent sunset.
